Jean Claude Gavri opened his digital label Coco Bin back in 2011, and set a new record of non less than 7 #1 digital releases on junodownload.com in less than one year. After too many inquiries of vinyl DJs, Coco Bin Classics Vinyl Series is finally about to launch. The series will gather some of JCG's top edits making them available on for the 1st time on vinyl, in fresh, uncompressed & compromised new master. Number one in the series collects 4 massive JCG classic edits, as the title implies. A1, "The Big Dub" is a piano house instrumental dub of Fleetwood Mac's "Big Love". It's a MASSIVE PEAKTIME WEAPON, and is being played heavily by Doc Martin, the Doc knows. A2, "Playa", is JCG's instrumental of Chicago's street player. Heavy percussion and hands in the air vibes. Speaking of hands in the air, A3, "Dancing With You" is JCG's take on Carrie Lucas' "Dance With You", famously used by Armand Van Helden as the foundation sample for his chart buster "You Don't Know Me". ". It's a solid & very effective instrumental. A4, "Listen To The Music", is a raw interpretation of Claudja Barry's "Sweet Dynamite". It's a simple, back to basics type of edit, mostly based on the instrumental bits of the original, with just the right amount of vocal relief.
