First release in a series of vinyl-only 12” EPs from new label Balearic Blah Blah featuring a choice collection of original Balearic gems and edits carefully selected and respectfully reworked by KBE. First up is “Sexy Sexy, an obscure 7” track which has been a secret weapon for discerning DJs for a while and is here stretched out into a real floor-filler. Next comes ”French Jones”, a hard-to-find B-side that used to get a lot of airplay back in the day but somehow got forgotten along the way - now this KBE edit brings the track bang up to date. Side 2 offers two super-rare untouched originals - the obscure and in-demand LP cut ”Robert Love”, a warm, beautiful electronic groover much loved in Balearic Blah Blah land followed by sure-fire party-starter “Emwem”, a Brazilian male version of Tania Maria’s well-known jazz-funk track. Lastly we have another extended edit by KBE, “Testing John”, a great overlooked funky pop dancer sounding like a cross between Bowie and Ferry. Don’t sleep – limited edition.
