Having made his name with some deliciously wonky, synth-heavy modern boogie cuts, Manchester-based Irishman Krystal Klear has increasingly moved towards straight-up house pastures in recent times. Here, he continues that trend with two contrasting cuts. While there are hints of his electrofunk past on the deep, dreamy and occasionally spine-tingling "Fumur Tue" - check the swirling strings and tactile synth bassline - lead track "Dance 7FS" is an altogether more robust affair. With its driving drums, growling electronics and jackin' Chicagoan drums, it's effectively a heavyweight DJ tool for those moments when nothing less than dark, tough and sweaty grooves will do.
