Worx very cleverly tap up in-demand Parisian DJ and producer The Mekanism for its first release here, squeezing out three of the artist's finest tracks to date. "Bogoto" fuses a disco groove and '70s strings with some classic deep house piano, and creates a heavenly peak time roller, while "2 Galactic" is pure '80s hip house fire, fusing cut-up vocals with a pounding late night groove. Taking things down a notch, "Singing Beasts" goes deep and jazzy to close proceedings on what's another great addition to the producer's discography, and a sterling first outing for Worx.
