HNNY seems to save his best for Local Talk. His previous three EPs for the Swedish imprint - "For The Very First Time", "Yearning" and, of course, "Tears" - have all become staples of deep house sets over the past 18 months. Happily, "Noth-ing" is another cracker - a single-sided salvo shot through with the sort of breezy sweetness we've come to expect from the Swede. The track itself fuses bubbling flutes and impassioned vocal samples with typically fluid deep house beats, a languid (but heavy) bassline and just the right amount of cosseting pads. It's perhaps a little looser than some of his productions, but that's no bad thing.
