It probably doesn't take a genius to figure out that Greatest Remixes Volume 3 gathers together another bumper selection of classic reworks from legendary New York DJ Larry Levan. As with previous editions in the series, there's a good blend of the well-known - stone-cold classic versions of Jimmy Ross's "First True Love Affair", Taana Gardner's epic slow jam "Heartbeat", Peech Boys' "Don't Make Me Wait" etc - alongside a string of lesser-known, but equally impressive, rubs. In this category you'll find the silly guitar solos and electrofunk-goes-large vibes of Third World's "One More Time", the undulating disco-funk of Tracy Weber's "Sure Shot", and Levan's frankly rather odd version of Edna Holt's already bonkers "Sirius Space Party".
