Marcus Guerra's productions from some ten years ago are highly sought after, whether in The Attendants or on his own as Homero G. After many years of silence, the West Coast label revives itself with a third instalment in the crucial Deep Cut Collective series, and it's heartening to see that Guerra's instinct for deadly deep house hooks has not faded one jot. Just try listening to "Feelin' Understood" and not getting the urge to hit the nearest dancefloor. The mood stays varied across the 12", with the more percussive "Days Of The DCC" sitting in opposition to the none-deeper seduction of "By My Side".
