Fossils is a new outlet for forgotten, rediscovered and reimagined musical objects. Resurrected and treated to be given a new life, keeping both the dancefloor and the late night sofa surfers in mind. The label is the bastard, juvenile child of Obas Nenor and long time friend and collaborator UV (aka Juvenile de Liquid aka Yuval Ullmann). The first release comes from the mysterious duo of Anony & Mous in the form of four mummified, sliced and diced middle eastern nuggets of the highest order. While there's the obvious choice of Pyramid Disco as the official dancefloor slayer, there are plenty of flavors to savor in this thick stew of arabic scales, authentic darbuka breakbeats and psychedelic synth meltdowns. Evidence of humid back alleys, dusty basements and the scorching sun pepper these magnificent tracks. For those who like their grooves off the beaten path - this one's a heavy weighter and a real mind bender. You welcome.
