Supreme Love: a Journey Through Coltrane isa the magnificent new album from acclaimed UK jazz talent and skilled saxophonist Sean Khan. As the title suggests, it finds the artist serving up sounds as that take great heed of the iconic John Coltrane. The record comes in three parts - autobiography, homage and encyclopaedia, and is a tightly woven mix of myriad disparate Uk musical Das from jazz to broken beat to dance and electronica. Contributions from Kaidi Tatham and Daz I Kue help take this record firmly into the future while Cinematic Orchestra front-woman Heidi Vogel adds her own soulful voice to Khan's, and Coltrane's, heartfelt lyrics.
