** 2015 repress of the Eglo essential from the don Shepard ** Eglo quietly slip out a double dose of Floating Points whilst no one is looking and sit back and watch the whole world scramble for a copy. A double A Side release from Sam Shepherd which finally sees him release the all conquering "Marilyn" - this is a track that's been dropped by thems in the know for a while now and is reason enough to indulge in this finely presented twelve inch. If your ears have not been graced by the sumptuous Dam Funk meets Theo bump of this track then you are in for a late week treat - beatdown future boogie of the highest order! Serving further notice of Floating Points' envious talent for arrangements ""Farukx"" echoes his recent Ensemble deviations, though the orchestral arrangements are complemented by delicately stuttering drums and an underlying bed of ethereal bliss which together proves to be quite captivating.
